Kartradar is made and run by Asle S. in Melhus, Trøndelag. There is no customer service department, but the email is read.
Feel free to write about:
- Errors on the map — a vehicle in the wrong place, a missing symbol, something that does not update. Include what you saw, where, and roughly when. A screenshot helps.
- Errors in the text on the about pages or in the guides. Factual errors are corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
- Suggestions for data sources or features. The requirement is that the source is open and lawful to use.
- Privacy — access to, or deletion of, data linked to your email address in the chat. See the privacy policy (in Norwegian; an English version is available on the map under "Privacy and terms" at the bottom of the menu).
- Inappropriate content reported by other users on the map. Such content is removed manually, and it helps to be told.

Response time
This is not a full-time job. Enquiries are answered when there is time, usually within a few days. Outages and serious errors take priority over everything else.
Chat on the map
There is also a discussion forum directly on the map, in the bottom right corner (the "Chat" button). Anyone can read it, and to write you sign in with email. It is usually the fastest route for short questions about something you are looking at right now.
Use of the data
The data on the map is owned by the sources, not by Kartradar, and most of it is published under NLOD or similar open licences. If you want to reuse something, go to the source itself — the sources page shows who owns what. Questions about the service itself, collaboration or advertising are handled by email.
